Hello artsy peeps! I took about a 6 month break from social media especially Instagram and You-tube. Last year(2024), I posted one to two videos a month for a whole year. This was to try and “fix” my YouTube algorithm. Which completely flopped. I was trying to brand myself as an artist, meet like minded people, and also showing behind the scenes of current art project. With artsy peeps following along in that art journey. But in doing so, I spread myself way too thin. My children’s book took longer to make and was still working a full-time 9 to 5 job. I also had online classes to finish. I felt like I was spending more time editing and working on Social Media more than actually creating the art itself. I love making content and looking back at old videos every know and then. Its truly is video journeying. For right now, at this time, I’m only going to be making more short form content instead. If I’m able to find time to make longer content, then I will. Eventually, I’ll make a video on this topic and give more in depth of the story. For right now, I really need to focus on the art and craft itself. Alright, I’ll see you artsy peeps next time!
