Hey Everyone, welcome back artsy peeps to my blog.
Today I’ll be sharing with you the process of this painting I did for my old juice bar job. I made a promise to paint Bart Simpson for my fellow co-workers as I was leaving to go work at my new job. Why Bart Simpson? Who knows the real reason. My manager one day drew a Bart Simpson near our check in list(what needed to be done before leaving for the night) I ended up drawing a Bart on our white board to join in the fun. From their everyone in the juice bar started to draw little Barts on pieces of tape leaving it all over the juice bar for people to find. I would be making a smoothie for a customer opening the lid to the protein powder to reveal a Bart under the lid. It kept the juice bar job interesting. I would make a joke saying if Grassroots(the name of the store) was a band, the juice bar would be the bass players of the band haha. I enjoyed the job but in the end the drive was to far and wasn’t able to get bills paid. It helped the financial bleeding until I was able to get a new job close to home. The reason I did not keep the video posted on my YouTube channel was because this was just for a gift and was not getting paid for it so I did not do the painting in my style. The inspiration came from this artist.
Anyway, you guys enjoy the video!
