This has been my biggest on going project. Buttons (the little skull character) came from a painting that I did back in 2012. Of little skull characters playing in the snow. Pie(the main character) came after I rebranded my YouTube channel from PiePiePinup to VisualFeels (2018.) I used the name to make a comic book character from it. Key lime (the little green alien) came from a drawing I did back in 2018 when I was first getting the hang of digital art. At the time, it was just a little green alien that just made a big cake. I decided to put these characters together to create a comic book. So far, I have only made a comic book video of them(2019) and have not made books of these characters yet. As I look back at the video and rough sketches, I can definitely see the improvement I have made through the years. Also I set a deadline for myself causing some scenes to not be as good of a quality as I would like it to be. Critiques I’d give my past self would be really study anatomy, take your time you have no deadline, keep the character consistent, and start reading comic books. Again, was my first time using digital graphics. Enjoy these old and rough sketches of the characters. Stay tuned for a book series. Shooting for 2025! Better drawings, better layout, better stories.
